Temporary Lovers
Time shall wane
But we shall hold strong
Quick fast
Sprinkled starlights
Float, glitter, sparkle
Just for our eyes
Wind caresses our hair
Face and skin
Gently, we're revitalised
Soft petals falling
Embracing us
Showering it's love
Whispers, how cruel you are.
We are no longer
Time strides by
Nothing changed
There aren't anymore
Glistening starlights
To twinkle for us
Pushed, shoved
Forced in all directions
The wind is harsh
And those petals
Have long ago died
Wilted and withered
... such a long time ago.
Mine no more
Bid farewell
To sweet goodbyes

Remember all those lost loves, or maybe lost lusts, old loves? Whatever they were to us, they did mean something to us .. whether we like to admit to it or not.
